DAIRY FACTORY CLOSES. Because of the phenomenally dry weather of the past few months the Waipukurau branch factory of the Heretaunga Dairy Company has ceased operations for a few months. Cream offering in the district will be sent to the main factory at Hastings. NAPIER RECONSTRUCTION Since *he Napier earthquake all Governmen: offices have been scattered round the town, but a tender was let yesterday o build new offices on the old post office site. The building will cost £54,000 and is to be completed within 18 montns. CLAIMS FOR DEBT. Judgment for plaintiffs, by. default, was entered by Mr -W. H. Woodward, S.M., in the following undefended civil case at the Stratford Magistrate’s Court to_day:—Gordon and Gordon v. C. A. Peters, £ll 8s (£2 14 s). JUDGMENT SUMMONS, Under judgment summons proceedings in the Stratford Maigistrate’s Court to-day, Rangi Newa wias ordered to pay Ada Cox the turn of £8 19s 6d, plus 15s solicitor’s fee forthwil lh, in default 10 days’ imprisonment.
