DIPHTHERIA OUTBREAK

Serious In Sydney Sydney, May 18. A serious outbreak of diphtheria in the Metropolitan area has resulted in the Health Department urging the necessity for the immunisation of children. There were 97 cases during the week ended May 18, bringing the year’s total to 853.
