Wednesday, when a barge captain, AiS'hur Cocker, of Hull, will claim salvage money for the Marie Celeste. Cojcker was a member of the boarding party from the thip Kentishman of which he was cabin boy. He claims to be the only living man possessing a first-hand connection with the mystery, and declares that he Ihitends to, produce hitherto undisclosed document: taken from the Marte Celeste’s cabin. Cocker’s theory is that a member of the Marie Celeste's company went bersetrk and killed two or three members cf the crew, after which he was himsefif killed. The remainder of the crew fin a panic took to the boats.
