DUKE’S ENGAGEMENT PROBABLY ON MAY 20 Conformity With Custom Press Association—Copyright. Received May 17, 11.55 a.m. London, May 16. The Sunday Referee says that the engagement of the Duke of Windsor and Mrs Wallis Warfield will be announced by the King in the London Gazette, probably on May 20. This will be only in confornfity with the custom under which all marriages of members of the Royal Family must be formally approved of by his Majesty.
