Social and Personal. Mrs A. G. McKenziej Ariel S-tfreet, it visiting her family in Wellington. * * * Mrs S. J. Lyons and Mits Lyons have returned from Wellington. * * * Mrs R. Stokes left yesterday for Auckland on a visit to her relations.'. * * * Mrs and Miss Harris, of Wanganui, were week-end guests of Mrs Moon. * * * Miss T. M. Hussey, of Takapau, is spending a brief holiday in Stratford. * * * *■ Mr D. J. Malone and Miss Molly Malone gave a very jolly supper party in the Windsor on Saturday night for the cast and helpers of “The Great Broxopp.” Many amusing speeches were made. Those present were: Mr and Mrs W. J. Hall, Mr and Mrs Glover, Mr and Mrs Uniacke, Mr and Mrs R. Stokes, Mesdames Beale and Hamilton; the Misses Evelyn Moon, J. Beale, E r andi E. Cartwright, L. Penn t H. Houle, Messrs K. Moss, H. Goodman, D. Patten, A. G. McKenzie, and L. Howes. An apology was sent from Mi’s Deare, who was unable to be present'.
