Annual C.O.R. Test The result of the Stratford Jersey Cattle Club’s annual c.o.r. test proved to be a success for Mr Truby King’s Golden Clara v.h.c., which produced 475.831 b. fat over the standard necessary to qualify, her aqtual record being 86(i 831 b. fat. Mr Crosby’s Croydon Fern’s. Zona was seco-nd wi‘ h 536.381 b. fat over the standard, her record being 712.481 b fat as a junior two-year-old. The records put up by cows owned by meiiib-ers of the Stratford club once again placed them prominently amongst the medal winners for the Dominion. Mr Crosby’s Croydon Fern’s Zona is ihe go-id medal winner in the junior two-year-old class. In ihe senior two-year_old class Mr Vandie’s Punga Nui Dairymaid is the bronze medal winner. Mr Ya.ndle’s other young cow, Punga Nui Joyce, has established a new record for the junior two-ye-ar.olds in the 3/5-day class with a record of 590.911 b. fa.!, the previous highest record on the Dominion for this class being 576.441 b fat. This young cow is making further history this season by heading for five consecutive months the senior two_year-qld class for monthly produc ion. In ‘the three-year-old class Mr Walker’s Fernside Clare is the Dominion bronze medal winner, and in l.he mature class Mr Truby King’s cow, Golden Clara V h.c., is the silver medal winner. Golden Clara v.h.c., and Mr J. Gibson’s Seiside Silver May each receive the Jersey Breed Association’s gold medal for producing over 7501 b fat.
