Miss Marie Tempest, the celebrated comedienne, who is well-known in Australia and New Zealand, has been made a Dame of the Order of the British Empire, in the Coronation Honours List. Mist' Tempest over a year ago celebrated her stage jubilee at Drury Lane, Lojidon. A remarkable gather, log included the late King George and Queen Mary.
