LOVE BEFORE A THRONE

ANOTHER ROYAL PRINCE NEPHEW OF KING GUSTAV Marriage To A Divorcee Received May 11, U.S a-m. Stockholm, May 10. Prince Charles, a nephew of King Gustav, has joined the ranks of European Princes who have placed love before the Royal prerogative. King Gustav announced at a Royal Council to-day that he had granted permission to Charles to msjrry the Countess Elsa Von Rosen, the daughter of the Court Master of Ceremonies, who is seven years his senior. A letter from Charles, which was before the Royal Council, stated that he knew contracting marriage meant the loss of rights of succession for himself and his children. The Countess Elsa Von Rosen was formerly married, the marriage being dissolved in 1935.
