SELLING OF LIQUOR
Country Club Manager Fined Press Association —Copyright. Auckland, May 7. A charge of illegally selling liquor was admitted in t<he Police Court today by Donald Vivian Higgins, manager of the Glendowie Country Club. Police evidence was that two constables went to the club, where they saw Higgins behind a bar serving liquor and receiving payment. The constables purchased liquor on three occasions. Higgins was fined £5O.
