AIR PAGEANT
Attempt On Parachute Record .. Advice has been received by the S ralford Aero Club that Mr G. H. Pegl.iy, of Pqfono, Ithe parachutist, will give exhibitions at the air pageant on Wednesday next and will attempt, 'to lower the New Zealand record' of 5,200 feet. Among the 'planes coming will be one from the Canterbury Aero Club. Nothing to being left undone by the executive to ensure ithe success ot the gathering. In addition to the president, Mr Percy Thomson, the vice-presidents, Messrs J,. W. McMillan and T. R. Anderson, and the secretary, Mr F. E. Clarke, the executive committee comprises: Messrs L. Wann, Brian McMillan, H. Bishop, W. L. Kennedy, J. L. O. Rowe, D. E. White, J. Crockett, Ri R. Curtis, A. G. Petrie and H. Scott.
