' His Excellency the Governor-Gen- ’ eral Lord Galway, accompanied by Captain Stuart French, A.D.C., has ; been enjoying a short fishing holiday iat «Turanga. Ha expects to leave today. I Mr and Mrs E. Cahill left by the express this morning tor Wanganui. i Dr H. W. Jack, superintendent of agriculture in Fiji, left Auckland tor Suva by the Matua. I Hon. H. G. R. Mason, Attorney-Gen-eral, left for Auckland by the Limited : express last night. He will return to Wellington on Monday. | The Dominion Premiers are being entertained at Chequers this weekend by Mr Stanley Baldwin, according to a cable message from London. ; A London cable message says that Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage attended the Coronation rehearsal to-day. I Mr J. I. Craig, financial secretary to the Egyptian Ministry of Finance is due to arrive at Auckland by the Wanganella on July 20 and will leave , New Zealand again from Wellington . by the Wanganella on August 5. Duri ing his stay in New Zealand Mr i Craig will deliver several addresses ; on the scenic wonders of Egypt and I on other phases,of Egyptian life.
