Elderly Woman’s Injuries Pi-ess Association—Copyright. Auckland. May 6. Knocked down by a tramcar in Queen Street to_day, an elderly woman, Mrs A. Morris., aged 71, a resident of Gisborne, who was staying at Avondale, suffered concussion and head injuries. The accident occurred near an intersection, the tram being out ward-bound, {or Avondale. Mi's Morris was thrown heavily to the ground, and when the tram shopped she was lying across the rails in front of the vehicle. She was taken to the Auckland hospital. Her condition is reported to be fairly serious
