Miniature Rifle Range Miniature rifle< hooting competitons have been restarted by the S ratford troop of the Legion of Frontiersmen at the Town Hall for the new settson. At ths first shoot, Service Sta ions retained ;he shield against Union Foundries, Ngaere and Legion teams. The five-round practices, the first for grouping and the second applica. tion, were fired, and the only possible wa.s scored by J. Crockett. Prizes were presented o the winning team and supper was provided. Service stations: J. Crockett 50, J. E. Dickson 49, A. C. Wright 44, H. Scott 44, R. Mcßeth 41;- total 228. Ngaere: A.
