Bank of Australasia: “Frozen lambs: Although there has been a fair demand for New Zealand stocks and arrivals were more than sufficient for trade, values for light weights remain steady, but the market it easier for heavy weights. Australian lambs, except! vejjy ligh/i weights, are not selling freely. There are prospects of improvement when the weather is favourable. Frozen mutton: Slow trade has caused slightly lower prices. Australian mutton is meeting with fair enquiries at present prices. Frozen beef: Supplies are negligible; nominal quotations.
