HOSPITALS’ APPEAL
Joint Flag Day In London (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, May 3. Next week 108 London hospitals will make a joint appeal for fundis with the experiment of a single flag d’ay on Tuesday. Three years ago 240 street collections, were macle and were reduced last year to 77 separ* ate flag days. The Queen has expressed heir sym pathy with the efforts in which 50,000 voluntary workers will be engaged and which it.is hoped will bring in a •contribution totalling* no less than the sums relallsed in separate appeals.
