DEATH OF YOUTH —— Gun Discharged by Dog Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, May 2. Tragedy /attended the opening of the duck shooting season in the Wairarapa on Saturday, a youth, John Reginold Cole, laged 17, dying in the Greytown Hospital as the result of a gunshot wounld. Cole was shooting in a reserve a .few miles out of Featherston with a party of other sportsmen on Saurday morning. It appears that his gun was discharged when his dog jumped up ait him, (he charge injuring his arm and entering the/armpit. He was conveyed to the Greytown Hospital, where the arm Was amputated, and di d there at 3.30 o’clock the same afternoon. Cole was 1 the son of Mr amd Mrs G. T. Cole, Western Lake, Featherslton.
