PASSENGER LOST

When the Rangitira "arrived at Wellington this morning the police were advised of 'the disappearance on ths voyage from Lyttelton of Mrs Fulton, a first class passenger travelling with her husband, who, it is believed, lived near Wangtanui. Mrs Fulton, it is stated, was returning from Hamner, and because of ithe condition of her nerves, her husband was accompanying her. They occupied a two-berth d ck cabin and retired some time*/after 11 p.m. on Saturday. A stewardess who went 'to the cabin about 6.30 a.m., found Mrs Ful-ton’-s berth unoccupied. It is thought the woman left the cabin in the night without her husband’s knowledge sdme 'time after 11 p.m., and was lost overboard.
