She hia<d ome variegated hydrangias in large vases in the drawing room. * * * A number of old friends, drove out to Manaia on Friday afternoon to visft Mrs E. Buist, in her new house. She received them, wearing a very smart Paris model of prune coloured fdule marocain, wiifi a diamiai} e 'buckle, and the drawing room was tastefully iccoraCed with shaded hydrangeas (and -•hrysan'hemums..
