Customs revenue colledJ d at Christchurch during April shows a big increase over April of last year, this more than maintaining the increase in receipts for tine financial year ended March 31. Increase in revenue for that year was £314,142, bu<t the figyr s for April, 1937, alone exceed by £41,410 those for April, 1936. The figures are as follows: April, 1936. April, 1937.
