THEATRE DISPUTE

The evidence having been concluded yesterday afternoon, legal argument was taken in the Supreme Court to-day in the case in which the Masterton Picture and Entertainment Co., Ltd., proceeded against William Robert Kemball, company director, Wellington. Decision was reserved. The company claimed the rescission of an alleged agreement between It and Kemball, a director of the company at the time, under which the company took 10,000 £1 shares in the Majestic' Theatre (Wellington) Ltd., and sought repayment of the £lO,OOO paid or £lO,OOO damages.
