QWING to increased running costs the undersigned taxi proprietors have agreed to charge the following fares as from today: Minimum fare 1 mile for 2 passengers 1/-; tor 3 to 5 passengers minimum 1/6. All cars hired to or from Railway Station: Minimum fare 1/6, with additional charge of 6d for passengers over 2, making a minimum of 2/- for 3 or more passengers, for one mile. Midhurst: To Railway Station, minimum 3/- for 2 passengers; 3 to 5 passengers, minimum 3/6. Toko: To Post Office, minimum 6/-, additional charge for 3 to 5 passengers 6d extra, making minimum 6/6. All cars hired for distance within 10 miles radius 1/- per mile one way with added charge of Gd for passengers exceeding two. Over ten miles radius by arrangement. Stops to pick up passenger, luggage, goods etc., Gd extra. Waiting time to be strictly charged for at the rate of Gd for every 5 minutes or portions thereof.
