MINOR COLLISION

Taxi And Farm Truck A minor collision between a farm truck driven by Mr H. Gadsby and a (car driven by Mr L. Close, taxi proprietor, occurred in Broadway yesterday afternoon near the Fenton Street intersection. Mr Close noticed the truck backing towards him, and stopped his car, but the truck driver apparently did not hear Mr Close’s warning and the car was struck on the left mudguard, causing minor damage. The glass in one of the headlights was broken.
