Sir John Simon, In a letter to Mr, Wilfred Roberts, secretary ot the National Joint Committee for Spanish Relief, said that he Government was prepared to faciliate the evacuation ot a limited number ot Basque children o England, on condit on that the evacuation was no charge on the public funds; also tliat eventually they b» repatriated to Spain. The committee is arranging to evacuate refugees to France and Belgium, as well ns England.
