( YEAR OF ACTIVITY Report For Presentation To Householders’ Meeting The committee had pleasure in reporting another year of 'activity, states he r.port of the-Stratford' Primary School Committee to be presented to the annual meeting of householders on Monday night. In pursuance of the policy of ground improvemeii'tiß' which for a number of y<ars had been carred out by past committees, continued the report, further improvement had been made to the school grounds. Storm v.fctcr which had been causing 'the committ e •some concern and some expense, had been finally diverted from the ground. With the financial help of some of | [he past pupils of the Echool, suitable trees had been planned along <he front of the school. The thange of the committee were due to those old pupils, who had assisted. The planting cereI mony was quite an inter sting one. • The Kowlwai trees planted had been I donated by Mr. Horton, of New PlyI mouth, and his kindness had been much appreciated. During the year a n w shelter had been erected, and extensions to the bicycle shed Were completed. A telephone had been installed in the Dental Clinic and should be a great convenience to parents.
