RL Hon, Sir Michael Myers P-C., K C.M.G., Chief Justice, placed a v'reath on behalf of the Combined English County Societies at the Wiar Memorial, Wellington, at 11 a.m. today (St. George’s Day), "in remembrance of Englishmen and of New Zealanders who laid down their lives for the preservation of our liberties and the Empire.”
