STRATFORD AERO CLUB.
CORONATION RALLY. Day’s Arrangements. A special meeting of members of the Stratford Aero Club was held last night, the president, Mr P. Thomson, occupying the chair, there being an attendance of over forty, while also present were the Mayor, Mr J. W. McMillan, Mr lan Keith, instructor to the Western Federation, and Mr 11. W. Lightband, captain of the -New Plymouth Aero Club, and Mr G. Boon, member of the New Plymouth Aero Club. The business before the meeting was the arrangements for the club’s rally on Coronation Day (May 12). The president offered to donate a ?up for competition among club members, and Mr W. D. Kennedy presented two guineas to the funds for the rally. Appointment of Committees. Committees were appointed as follows: Flying: Messrs D. Wann, H. Bishop, B. McMillan, H. Scott, R. Curtis, J. L. O. Rowe, and D. White, to act with six members from the New Plymouth Aero Club. Reception: Messrs L. Wann, and 11. Moor. Judges: Wing-Commander C. M. Wilkes and Mr lan Keith. In the absence of Mr Wilkes, Mr F. S. Gilkison, assistant instructor to the Western Federation, will be asked to officiate. Call stewards: Messrs G. Boon, C. Plumtree, and D. White. Results stewards: Messrs W. Carman and C. Thomson. Nomination stewards, members of the Reception Committee. Announcers: Messrs J. E. Dickson and Crossman. Entertainment: J. L. O. Rowe and C. B. Linn. Transport: Messrs 11. Scott and J. E. Dickson. Publicity: Messrs D. White and F. E. Clarke. Grounds: Messrs R. R. Curtiss (convener), M. Bell, J. E. Crockett, L. Volske, C. Jury and C. H. Hight.
