Learning from Australia. London, April 14. A Royal -Welcome is being prepared for 240,000 bees, in 16 hives, which the young Maharajah of Travancore has bought from a. West Australian farmer. A special bee department has been created under the Maharajah’s personal supervision. The bees will be noused in miniature crystal palaces. In a different part of the country, and as an experiment in the possibilities of beekeeping in rough country, the Maharajah of Mysore has extensive hives. is sending M. Ayengar, from his agricultural department, to Australia to s'.ndy bee farming. He expects to return, bringing bees, at the end of two years.
