DAVIS CUP PLAYERS.
Australians Practice at Mexico City. Press Association —kjopynght. Mexico City, April 20. Single practices with Bromwich against McGrath, and Crawford against Quist, were played by the Australian Davis Cup te/am to-day. The plajfers remarked that the sunshine made them feel at home. A large gallery paid rapt- attention to he syles of Bromwich and McGrath. The manager, Mr. C. Sproule, said the players iv’ere in good shape and could be expected to become accustomed to the higher bounces due 'to the high attitude. Many of the outs* during the practice matches would have been inside if the games had been played at sea level. The practice games w-ere relatively light and no scores were ’taken.
