SHUNTER KILLED.
Accident at Christchurch. Christchurch, April 21. Thomas 11. Lightfoot, a middleaged shunter employed in the Christchurch railway goods yards, was killed at 6.30 p.m. to-day when he was run over by a rake of trucks and a C.C. class engine. He died before he could be extricated from beneath the tender of the. engine, which had to be jacked up to permit the removal of the body.
