GOLF CLUB FAREWELL.
Preseatation To Miss Hope Penn. Notwithstanding the very inclement waather, was a large gathering at the golf links yesterday afternoon, the occasion being a farewell tendered to Miss Hope Penn. On behalf of the lady club members, Mrs. R. Fryday presented Miss Penn with a handsome set of carvers. Miss Penn suitably responded. Apologies for unavoidable absence were sent from Mesdames Newell, G. Carter, and Mark. Those present were: Mesdames R. Fryday, Ch. Penn, K. Pegg, Knewstubb, E. Rutherfurd, F. Nolan, H. Bishop, Baden Bellringer, W. Power, W. Williams, W. G. Liddell, H. Webber, F. Bodie, E. D. Evans, W. Shaw, L. Pope, N. O. Ebbett, W. Mackay, H. L. Betts, W. H. Simons, A. E. J. Keahly, J. Graham, H. Burmeister, Hislopp, F. Nolan, L. Sole, H. Jenkins, G. Boon; the Misses Hope Penn, M. Porritt, V. M. and B. Sangster, L. Penn, Elsie Anderson, M. Malone, and J. Hale. The hostesses for afternoon tea were Mrs. W. G. Liddell and Miss Elsie Anderson.
