Public Debate.
A public debate Will be held in St. Andrew’s Hall to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock on the proposition. “That 'he Introduction of Socialism is Inevitable.” This debate, which is the first of a series to he held under ihe auspices of the Stratford branch of the Labour Party, is certain to arouse great public interest, for at present, with the first Labour Government in power in New Zealand, The question nf Socialism is very much to the fore. Is the introduction of Socialisin' inevitable? Very many of the world’s leading economists and thinkers believe that it is.
