HOSPITAL BOARD.

Reports to Monthly Meeting. The monthly meeting of the Stratford Hospital Board was held to-day. Present were: Messrs. T. R. Anderson (chairman), M. Gernhoefer, J. D. Law, C. A. Marchant, and Mrs. D. Shannon and Mrs. M. T. Phillips. The Medical Superintendent, Dr. W. Brown, reported that the number of patients admitted during March was 55; discharged, 54; died, 4; remaining in hospital, 33; out-patients attended, 103; admissions to maternity ward, 9; births, 7; visits antenatal clinic, 60. The Whangamomonai Dj:sMri?ct Nurse advised that 68 visits had been made to 26 patients. Twelve cases were cured, 10 were relieved, one was advised, and three were transferred to hospital. The Stratford Racing Club wrote thanking the board for the use of the ambulance at the March meeting, and forwarded a donation of £l/1/-.
