STRATFORD CLUB TOURNEY. Fitzroy Team’s Success. W ’ ■ The one-da/ rink tournament conducted by the Stratford Club on Saturday was concluded late in the evening. The winners were a Fitzroy team comprising G. A. Lyall, If. Round, E. Doyle, and T. Williams (skip), who defeated an Eltham rink (Peacock, Campbell, G. W. Peebles, and H. Drabble, s.) by 10 points to 2 in a final play-off of five beads. The arrangements for the programme were well carried out, and the officials for the day were: Umpire and secretary, Mr. W. McDonald; committee, Messrs. W. McDonald, A. H. R. Amess, and L. J. Furrie. Following is a summary of the results. of play: Williams (Fitzroy), Drabble, 5 wins; Bulman, Squii/? Okey, Wills, Compton, 4 wins; Clarke, 5J wins; Smith, 3 wins; Marsh, Skoglund, 2J wins; Harris, Coe, Mason, Murrhy, 2 wins; Bourke, 11 wins, Mumby, W. Williams. Tiplady, Ritchie, 1 win; Ewing. Mills, no wins.
