WATER CONSERVATION
Committee Appointed in Britain. (British Official Wireless.) Kugby, April 16. 'Phe Minister o£ Health, Sir Kingsley Wood, after consultation with other Government departments, has appointed a t ntral Water Advisory Committee under the chairmanship of Field-Marshal Lord Milne, and comprising persons with knowledge of the problems from the point ol view of various interests concerned to advise the Government departments on questions relating to the conservation, and allocation. o£ water resources. It is expected that the committee will • onsider in the first place necessary measures for modernisation of the law relating to water supply and for the conservation and use of water so that the resources of the country may be used to the best advantage.
