TRAINING-SHIP IN COLLISION Little Damage Suffered. Press Association—Copyright. Received 11.50 a.m. London, April 16. The wooden walls of the training ship Cornwall, which, was built at Bombay 122 years ago and which lasted throughout the China War of 1841, stood up against the shock when the Soviet cargo steamer Shekena collided with her in the Thames. The Cornwall, which is built of teak, rocked violently, but suffered little damage. The Shekena’s bows were damaged.
