Proposing the toast of the Lord Mayor and the Corporation of London at the dinner of the Worshipful Company of Paviours, Mr. W. J. Jordan, High Commissioner for New Zealand, said 'that New 1 Zealand was grateful for London’s' assistance in the past. "We have emerged from the depression and have met our liabilities here fully without any concession and shall tuly without any concession and shall continue to do so,” he said. “Our. finances arc bouyant. The Budget shows record revenue. We are pleased that our securities stand high on the Stock Exchange. New Zealand has kept and will keep its agreements.”
