General, Senator McLachlan, told the Sydney Sun to-day that there was no deadlock and never had been. “We have agreed to the general principle., but n to the entire details.” he said. “These will be finalised at a conference ot British, Australian and New Zealand Ministers now in London." The Com nonwealth Cabinet will examine the position next Tuesday and will forward its recommendations to Mr J. A. Lyons and Sir Archdale Parkhill in London. The Sydney Sun adds that it Is believed the New Zealand Governmentis conditions arc regarded as too binding on the Commonwealth.
