TOKO DANCE

Jolly Football Club Affair. There was a very jolly dance held in Toko on Wednesday night under the auspices of the Football Club. The hall was beautifully decorated in the club colours, yellow and black. Amongst those present were: Mrs. Mayhead ((black satin), Mrs Corry (flame-coloured georgette), the Misses Hurst (Marie Rose lace), Mackay (floral georgette), Neilson (black satin), Murphy (emerald green satin), M. Corbett (geranium-coloured taffeta), R. Cerbett (beige taffeta), Toms (black charmeuse satin). Tuck (midnight blue crepe), West (black georgette), Isbister (floral georgette). Street (flame ninon), Aagaard (Marina blue georgette), M. Black (mauve satin), Aitken (scarlet lace), Reed (crimson crepe de chine), Melville (floral silk voile), B. and M. Gangster ■ (blue taffeta and honey-coloured ;eorgette respectively), Lister (maize

taffeta), Needham (white crepe), Marwick (floral crepe), Ferguson (black ring velvet), Brown (floral taffeta). The first Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss Lister and her partner, Mr. P. Jones; the second by Miss Neilson and her partner. Vinsen’s orchestra, supplied excellent music, and an appetising supper was supplied by the ladies.
