Q Three Governments Concerned. Press Association—Copyright. Wellington. April 13. Commenting on Mr Nash’s slate ment on (the tran&.Tasman air service to-day the. actingiprime Alinister, Hon. P. Fraser,, said that idle statement concerned a number of misconceptions which appear to have a.risen out of erroneous reports appearing in the British Press. The Governmenitps attention hftd been drawn in particular to a Press cable from Ausltralia which purported tp give a version of the agreement made between the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand at the Wellington conference last Sf’pllember. One extract was to the effect that it wa.s understood that the agreement had been largely influenced by ’he British Government’s intimation i hat, failing an agreement being reached, in would authorise Imperia] Airv/ays to operate a service. With a view to removing the misconcep lions which might, arise- from this Etatempnit the official statement was issued to the British Press. “I may add,’’ Concluded Air Fraser, “that outstanding aviation quest ions, including that of a trans-Tasman service, will be discussed at London by representatives of the three Governments concerned at the forthcoming Coronation visit.”
