CORONATION OPERA.
Covent Garden Programme. The coronation season of international opera at Covent Garden Opera >House, London, will commence on April 17, under the artistic direction of Sir Thomas Beecham. The repertoire for the seaton comprises “Parsifal,” the Nibelungen Ring. “The Flying Dutchman,” and “Tristan and Isolde” (all by Wagner); >the Verdi operas “Othello,” “Aida” and “Fal_ staff,’ “Don Pasquale” (Doruizetki), ‘Turahdot” (Puccini), “Carmen” (Bizet), “Pelleas and Melitande” (Deoussy), '.‘Prince Igor” (Borodin), “Orpheus” Oxluck), “Alceste”’ (Glhck;), De OoqjJor” (Rimsky^Korsakioff), Barbe Bleue’* (Dukas), ind de Manara” (Eugene Goot; London Philharmonic will the orchestra. The d 6 Basil Russian ballet, with he London Philharmonic Orchestra will appear at Covent Garden from July 1 to 31, and from September 1 to mid-October.
