STABBING AFFRAY.

Press Association—Copyright. Dunedin, April 12. Jumsheraller, an Indian, was charged on remand in the Police Court today with wounding Jabidaller, 'another Indian, with intent to do grievious bodily harm. The charge rose out of a stabbing affray in the steamer Olivebank on Friday last. The evidence of four witnesses was heard to-day and was translated into Hindustani to enable it to be understood by the accused. Jumsheraller was then remanded in custody till April 26, when it is hoped to obtain the evidence of Jabidaller, who is still in hospital on the dangerously ill list.
