Mr James Maxwell Garnett, M.A., C.8.E., Secretary of the League of Nations Union, in a leuter to vn e Times', suggests that His Majesty might gracefully consider an alteration of the Royal Standard to conform to the terms of the amended Coronation Oath and contain all the Empire’s symbols, Mr Garnett supplied a sketch of the Standard, showing the S°ut|her'n Cross at the top righthand, with New Zealand’s red stars in the- lower sector.
