"Are Englishmen and Americans much alike?” the Governor-General of Canada, Lord 1 Tweedemuir, was gsked in* Press interview, on his visit to the' United States. "No, thank God, they are very dif terent,” Lord Tweedsmuir replied. Then he added: “That is why Ve are such good friends.”
