ROAD SAFETY POSTERS.
Posters 1 in the schools emphasising the need for road safety were strongly advocated by the executive committee of the Automobile Association (Wellington), after considering an invitation from the Minister of Transport, Hon. R. Semple, tent on by the North Island Motor Union for recommendations on the subject of road safety. AUSTRALIAN SQUADRON. The AustriJian destroyer Waterhen, commander by Lieutenant-Command-er Spurgeon, arrived at Auckland yesterday frcm Wellington. The rest of the Australian squadron, comprising the Canberra, Australia, Sydney, Swan, Stuart, and Vendetta, will arrive at Auckland next Friday and will remain in port until April" 21.
