AERO CLUB.
CORONATION RALLY. Preparations for Pageant at Stratford. A meeting of the S(tratford Aero Club was' held last night. Present were: Messrs Percy Thomson (chairman), W. Y. Kennedy, J. L. O. Rowe. B. McMillan, H. Scott, R. R. Curtis, J. Crockett, Geo. Boon and F. E. Clarke (secretary). Apologies were received from Messrs. L. Wann, A. G. Petrie, D. E. White, and J. W. McMillan. Messrs J. Gale, W. J. Chapman, J. E. Dixon, L. Volske, and G. Boon were elected members of the clrb. The chairman reported that during his recent visit to Wellington he had Interviewed the authorities, who confirmed that it would be quite inorder for the club to proceed n>lth its contemplated rally on May 12. There was a possibility that a Union Airways machine would be present. Thle tsecretary warn (imdJrufctep' to write to the Western Federation to secure the services of Mr. lan Keith. It was decided to apply to WingCommander Cochrane for the visit of a Wilde-Beest plane or an Avro. Application for the use of Verey lights will be made to Wing-Commander Wilkes. The Legion of Frontiersmen will be asked to assist on the day, and it was decided that about 20 uniformed men might be avaialable. . Mir.
