JAPANESE ATTITUDE.

Fourteen-inch Gun Limitation Value of London Treaty (British Official Wireless.) Received 11.30 a.m. Rugby, April 7. After informing the House of Commons at question-time that the Japanese Government had declined to accept. the 14-inch gun limitattion for future capital ships, Mr. Anthony Eden was asked If it might be assumed that the London Naval Treaty was worthless. Mr. Eden replied that he would not at all assume that.

The Foreign Secretary also stated that, there was no intention at present on the part of the British Government to move for a revision of the treaty.
