Benno Moiseiwitsch
“Man Without Nationality.” Press Association—Copyright. Received 9.45 a.m. London, April 7. The famous pianist, Benno Moiseiwitsch, was born in Odessa in 1890 and naturalised as a British subject. He has not returned to Russia since the Revolution, for which reason he is officially described as a “man without nationality.”
