Summer Exhibition. (British Official Wireless.) I'ugby, April 6. Sixteen thousand vforks of art produced during the current’ year submitted for the.examinaiion of the selection committee for the Royal Academy summer exhibition included about 10,000 in oils, and of these 100 have been accepted. The number of exhibits in ail sec- ions accepted last year was 1635. The number of works of all classes submitted this yet r exceeds the normal figure by nearly 2000.
