SPORTS CONCLUDED Congratulations of Chairman of the Board. I The chairman of the Stratford Technical High School Board of Governors, Mr. J. McAllister, briefly ad- ! dressed the gathering of visitors and pupils at the cor elusion of the sports yesterday afternoon. i I I '“I am very pleased to be present with you all on such a. lovely afternoon to congratulate the boys and girls on the conclusion of the enjoyable programme," said Mr. McAllister. He jocularly remarked that he felt frightened at being among champions (seated on the platform) as he had never been class d as a champion before. " On behalf of tile board he congratulated all the winners, as well as those who had lost., on the fine spirit displayed in the competitions. He was sure that the boys 'and girls had had an enjoyable time, because they looked happy, and all he had to judge by was their looks. In concluding, Mr. McAllister called upon the Principal (Mr. A. H. R Amess) to present the trophies won at the sports. The various winners ’Were heartily applauded as they received their prizes.
