From 63 schools Puniwhakau has been awarded the isch Shield given for g neral excellence in agriculture and environment in the smaller pri mary schools of Taranaki. The shield was presented on Monday by Mr. J. A Valentine, chairman of the Taran ki Education Board, who was accompan led by Messrs T. J. Griffin and J. MeAllist r and officers of the board.
